Going green on only helps the environment, but it’s also good for your wallet! An important measure when considering large displays is what the product’s Environmental Cost of Ownership (ECO) will be. The better the number, the less you’ll spend over the life of the display, saving you money in the long-run. Replacing projector lamps and spare parts, plus the labour to install and service them is an important element to consider when choosing a large display. Prysm’s tiles do not require the use of lamps and spare parts are minimal, meaning you’ll have less down-time and no expensive lamp bills.
If a videowall will be run 24/7 it will consume a lot of energy and create a lot of heat that must be dealt with. Prysm and Nanolumens technology is so energy efficient that it will consume considerably less energy than competing products, with almost no heat output to worry about. The means no need for additional HVAC systems to keep rooms cool.
With videowalls it is important to ensure each panel colour and brightness matches the surrounding panels. Due to the green organic-materials used in Prysm’s tile construction the degradation overtime is minimal, which results in even and consistently beautiful images.
