Project Details and APG Solution
At the VIP and press event in New York, RIM wanted an impactful, visually stunning display that could equal the hype and anticipation of their new tablet PC – the Playbook. No easy task when the world was watching!
APG stepped up to the plate with Taylor Group and created an immersive video display solution that highlighted the Playbooks features to the fullest. With two 1x5 infinite plasma walls that showed the stunning features and look of the Playbook, RIM's goal to launch with a bang was achieved.
To make sure this high visibility show went off without a hitch, APG staff worked with RIM to test content and helped with formatting to ensure the desired display effects where achieved. APG was also on hand in New York to provide technical support, setup, and tear down, and had spare displays on hand should they have been required.
