Orion video display technology a huge success at cross-Canada children’s concert
APG Displays is proud to announce its recent audio visual success with the Roll Play Live Animal Party Tour. As the Canadian distributor of the Orion Infinite Plasma Video Wall, APG provided the tour venues with Orion’s latest video display technology.
Treehouse (CORUS Entertainment) and Sinking Ship Entertainment presented a live concert tour of the popular show Roll Play at venues across Canada. The Roll Play Live Animal Party invited children and their parents to join in a unique, interactive show involving the Famous PEOPLE Players puppets, dancing, music and performances. For their audio visual needs, the two television programming companies approached APG Displays.
Since each venue had a unique layout and the concert halls were quite large, the space and the size of each stop called for a display that was easy to assemble and dismantle. In order for everyone to see the action, the screens also had to be big and extremely bright. The solution was the Orion Infinite Plasma Video Wall. Each venue featured a 4×4 configuration in the centre of the stage, flanked by two additional 2×2 NEC Video Walls.
The Infinite Plasma is a bezel-free plasma screen, which offers a virtually seamless image superior to any plasma or LCD alternative on the market. Orion designed the screens for easy installation and efficient operation. The software allows users to display multiple images or one completely seamless image across all panels. The high brightness, high contrast and anti-reflective surface technologies provided a stunning display throughout the Roll Play Tour.
APG also provided the tour with a full-time professional video wall engineer to ensure each show ran smoothly. The tour was a huge success with kids and parents across Canada. We are proud to have been a part of it – seeing the kids laughing, dancing, singing and learning was the true reward.
