Aquivo FAQ
What warranty do you offer on the screens as standard?
Every Aquivo screen comes with a 2-year warranty.
What does IP56 Rated mean?
This classification was created in the UK. IP stands for Ingress Protection, the level of rating given to a screen in its defence against water, dust and humidity and suitability for use outside.
The first digit in the rating (IP56), in this case '5' indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts. These screens are mostly but not entirely protected against the ingress of dust, although it stops the dust from entering in any amount that is harmful to the working of the screen. It offers complete protection against contact.
The second digit, in this case '6' relates to the level of protection the equipment has against the harmful ingress of water. The AQUiVO screens are protected against water from heavy seas or projected in powerful jets, and these will not enter the enclosure in harmful quantities.
Will these screens be suitable for venues looking to put them outside during winter in Canada?
The Aquivo screens are still not considered to be winter proof in Canada. Those screens cannot be placed outdoors when the temperature is below 0 degree. Ideally, they should stay indoors during winter and outdoors during the rest of the year. But stay tuned - we are working with the manufacturer to create a customized screen that will have an embedded heater, so it works seamlessly throughout the whole year.
